‘I had a ball and the rest of the packed audience did too.’ The Times on Jordi Savall at CMF 2023

The glittering sound of viols, guitars and percussion rekindles the spirit of the Spanish Golden Age in the 16th and 17th centuries – from Spain to its territories in Naples and Mexico. Jordi Savall’s musicians are given full rein to display their skill in Canarios (dances) and the increasingly lively and virtuosic improvisations of the Folia (‘folly’ or ‘madness’).

Don’t miss this rare local opportunity to witness Savall, the great elder statesman of early music.
