Windborne is a vocal quartet with a difference – full-throated singing yet with beautifully blended harmonies. The mix of vocal sophistication and emotional directness makes for a powerful and captivating show – all the while, revealing vocal traditions from across centuries and continents.

Following the theme of mid-winter, we travel from New England and the American South to the Occitan region of France (where Christmas is seen through Satan’s eyes), and on to the driving percussion and vocal polyphony of Lithuania – with many more stops along the way.
